EXCHANGES WITHIN 30 DAYS


At Zapper remotes, we are delighted to offer you the opportunity to exchange the remote control you have ordered for another model. You have the right to return any article which does not suit within 30 days of the date that your order was delivered, and to request an exchange

The article must be returned in perfect condition, in its original, undamaged packaging. All accessories must be returned with the article. Failing this, you will forfeit your right to an exchange and the product will be returned to you at your expense.

All exchanges must be validated in advance by our customer services department, who will help you to select the correct model and issue you with a returns number. RETURN UNDER GUARANTEE WITHIN 1 YEAR


All our gate remote controls are guaranteed for 1 year with the exception of the batteries. Within this period, we will replace any defective remote control with a new item.

Before requesting an exchange under guarantee, customers must carry out some basic tests to ensure that the remote control is truly defective: 
  • even if the diode lights, replace the battery (for example with one from a working remote control) and try the remote control again.
  • Reprogram the remote control and try it.
  • Ensure that your remote controls still work. If all remote controls have ceased to function, the issue is with the receiving equipment rather than the remote control itself.
Warranty goods are return to base.  If an item is deemed as warranty it is returned to us for inspection, we retain the right to repair the goods if possible, or return the goods to the manufacturer for further investigation.  All genuine warranty cases will be dealt with swiftly and replacements send out at no extra cost.

Warranty covers the repair and cost of replacement parts only, we do not accept claims for compensation, travelling or fitting costs.  The Zapper Remotes are agents for various manufacturers any additional claims must be made directly to the manufacturer.

The Electric Gate Shop Ltd endeavor to deal with problems and warranty as quickly and efficiently as possible, however we do not tolerate abusive or threatening behavior towards our staff and may refuse service in exceptional circumstances.

PRODUCT RETURNS WITHIN 7 DAYS


You have the right to return any article which does not suit within 7 days of the date that your order was delivered, and to request a refund without any penalty other than the cost of returning the article and any shipping or payment processing (Paypal / Nochex) costs incurred.  Goods must then be returned at the buyers cost and a refund will be given within 30 days. Should the goods be found to be damaged due to the buyers fault, the buyer will be liable for this cost.

The article must be returned in perfect condition, in its original, undamaged packaging. All accessories must be returned with the article. Failing this, you will forfeit your right to a refund and the product will be returned to you at your expense.

To enable you to track your parcel, we recommend that you return it using a tracked parcel with signature on delivery.

Carriage costs will be refunded only if the return is necessitated by an error on the part of Zapper remotes.

Refunds for goods lost in transit will only be made on receipt of proof of postage.

Goods returned as unsuitable will usually be changed for suitable ones, general returned goods are subject to a 20% -40% restocking fee dependant on order value.

If you request a refund, your payment for the item will be refunded within 30 days. If you paid by credit card the refund will be made to the card. Otherwise a cheque will be sent to you within this period..

Postage costs will not be refunded.
